DWTS

That's right, Dancing with the Studs. Stars, they may be, but seriously the most important part of the evening tonight will be, who's wearing what in their ears and on their necks. I'm sorry, but there are many things that are more important that Kate Gosselin's hair do, and Pam Anderson's twins, you know, her ears. I heard Nicole Sherzinger is supposed to really turn heads, obviously have you seen her? Maybe some of her pussycat dolls will be in the audience with some stellar jewels.. But I think we all know who will take the cake tonight, our favorite bachelor of all time, Jason Mesnick...oh wait, he's not on the show, we'll have to watch the boring and terrible decision maker, Jake. But we're sure that the 90210 star, Shannon Doherty will cause a scene tonight, because, well, let's face it, she's so damn good at it. But I'm almost positive that even with the teeny tiny costumes, there has to be some room for teeny tiny jewelry? Studs, perhaps? Unless Samantha Harris is the only one who will rock it this year! But I'm so excited to tune in and see! I'm hoping they'll make themselves shine a little with some fabulous diamond or faux diamond bangles and some outrageous over-the-top earrings, I mean, even the tiniest of outfits need a little sparkle!

Let us know what you think of the jewelry!!

Spring forward. Whose bright idea was this anyway?

Great question, who would even remember this monumental change in time that happened on Sunday morning at 2 am. I certainly didn't. But after a few cocktails, I checked my blackberry and before it knew it, it was 3 am. Way, way, way past my bedtime, I bolted to the door and headed uptown. By the time I got home, I was already getting excited for Spring. All I could think about was that the days were getting longer, the sun was getting stronger and the thought of whipping out all of my gold jewelry and turquoise jewelry that I had neglected all winter long, was going to keep me up all night. I'm sure you can relate.

It's almost that time to throw your hair in a bun or side ponytail, a t-shirt with a light wrap or little jacket and most importantly, your boho chic jewels. Dress yourself up with a fabulous necklace embellished with turquoise stones, and let that color shine! You have just enough time to start your spring like collection so that when it finally gets here, and we're hoping sooner than later, you'll be ready to show off your new accessories. Here are a few of our favorites!

The Best Dressed Couple Goes To...

Angie and Brad..Oh wait, they weren't there...I guess we'll give it to Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, obviously. This handsome duo definitely opened the ceremony with a laugh or two...and that was about it! Don't get us wrong, but they forgot to point out the most important category of the night! The Oscar for the best jewels. So, with that said, we'll take it from here!

Drum roll please...the runner ups (so many!!) for the best jewels of the evening were....
Maggie Gyllenhaal, besides her dress which we loveddddd, she took such a bold move with those vintage ivory and diamond Calla Lilly earrings from Fred Leighton of course and her Fred Leighton vintage platinum and diamond bracelet with emerald and sapphire brooch-to die for!!!

Then of course, there's Kristen Stewart from the Twilight Saga...umm...I wonder if Edward ate them off of her because and correct me if I'm wrong, there was nothing on her!!!

The next runner up was the stunning Rachel McAdams in her long, flowy, colorful, festive gown accompanied by Lorraine Schwartz 145-carat large cluster, multi-color diamond earrings, amazinggggg!!! she looked stunning!!

Sarah Jessica Parker, I was unsure about, but her dress grew on me and so did those amazing

stacked platinum and diamond bracelets and 9-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, all by Fred Leighton!

And the winner of this years Oscar goes to....Demi Moore...that's right, you heard correctly! She looked stunning and her jewels were over the top amazing! Her earrings, Van Cleef & Arpels diamond, pearl and sapphire tassel, were beautiful, her Van Cleef & Arpels platinum and diamond bracelet and Tahitian pearl ring were fabulous accents, and the extra va va voom, her Van Cleef & Arpels platinum and diamond hair clip.
She was a site of perfection!!! Don't you think Ashton?

Your Inner Rocker

Whether you're dressing for day or night, a movie or a night out on the town, snow boots, suede booties, tight jeans, leggings or your little black dress with some Prada peep toes, jewelry is still bringing out your inner rocker. Metal, chains and studs are still rocking on from the spring trends and are channeling your girly rocker style. Soft neutrals are being carried forward into fall as well, we're seeing more and more rose gold than before! Say goodbye to yellow and white and hello ROSE! Its all about the nudes, pale pinks and light greys for shoes and clothing so jewelry needs to have a little pop to complete your looks this fall. Our favorite, favorite designers from the show were King Baby, Gara Danielle and Gemma Redux. Weather it's a bib necklace or long layered chains, fall 2010 looks fresh and exciting, I cant wait to wear my Gemma necklace with my open toe booties, tight jeans and blazer...

You have to be someone special to get to sit front row at a fashion show!

And special we were! You know what it means when you're front row! Amber and I sat right in front at the Wedding Library Fashion Show at the Palace this past weekend. Ok, Philip Lim, Jason Wu and Marc Jacobs, it was not, but just as stylish and just as important with a feature bridesmaid dress show, accompanied by a Vera Wang fashion show featuring her 2010 wedding line...That's special to us. Not only did we get to meet and listen to the amazing founders of the Wedding Library, Claudia and Jennifer, but we also got to ask questions to the famed Colin Cowie! Beyond that, we came neck to neck with my personal favorite, Darcy Miller, who does everything you can imagine for Martha Stewart Weddings! She was adorable and so inspiring! With that said, we were so proud that our new partnership with the Wedding Library was off to a great start! We hand selected and styled all of the girls in the show! Take a look at some of our pics from the event!

Tiger's Push Present x 2 or 4, maybe 6 or 8?

According to Amber and myself, if we do the math correctly, Tiger owes Elin, not only one but two push presents for pushing out those adorable babies, but he also owes Joslyn James, his lovely porn mistress, a gift as well, not for pushing but for impregnating and keeping quiet (for a few years at least), we'll call it a HUSH present. Or, we think, he was gift enough and his presence, not presents is just as good as any jewels. That's nice Ms. James, and since you didn't actually push those kids out, your loss. We strongly feel that Tiger, should be purchasing some hefty baubles for his lovely wife, who, at the moment is choosing to stay with his lying, cheating *!#!!!, but who are we to judge, I'm sure she has some big plans for him!! Remember Tiger, we're here to help support all of those so-called pregnancy's that are about to come out of the woodwork. So far 2! We think Elin should get double for each one! Stay tuned to see how many women come out!!

Here's what we think Elin should be getting! Since she's so sporty and classic, check out our picks...pay attention TIGER!!!

Fleur-de-licious Saints!

Who would have ever thought that the New Orleans Saints would have beat the Indianapolis Colts in last nights Superbowl! (I DID!!) Beyond that, who would have thought the Saints would tie jewelry into their win! Fleur-de-lis, ladies and gentleman, is the flower of the lily, most typically embellished with diamonds...ok, most typically, according to me! But worn on the helmets and their uniforms!

Drew Brees really nailed it last night! When asked what he thought about the New Orleans Saints' use of the fleur-de-lis on their helmets and uniforms, Brees responded with a brief history lesson. He rehashed how Louisiana had adopted the symbol when it was a French colony, explaining that the fleur-de-lis (flower of the lily) was a symbol of the French monarchy at the time. "So much of New Orleans' culture comes from the time when we were under French rule," said Brees, who grew up in Austin, Texas. "It's a big part of what New Orleans is all about. "So when you look at that symbol, it is the symbol of the city. It's just like when you look at the American flag, when you sing the National Anthem and you stare at it. It makes you well up with pride. When we see the fleur-de-lis, it makes us well up with pride."

Well said my man...my heart is still pit pattering...so, we're giving a big GIANT shout out to New Orleans today, not only because they won the Superbowl, but the city is amazing and has some of the most stunning jewels as well! I'll put money on it that you'll definitely be able to find some gorgeous diamond encrusted Fleur-de-lis brooches, earrings or necklaces in many of their jewelry stores!!!
